The Science of Osteopathy

Osteopathy was introduced by Dr. Andrew Still in 1874 and is based on four principles: if a structure in the body is injured, the body won’t function at its best; the natural flow of the body’s lymphatic, vascular, and neurological fluids must be maintained; the body’s physical, emotional and cognitive systems work in harmony; and when the body has no restrictions, it can heal itself.

Osteopathic manual practitioners study the most modern and scientific models of Anatomy, physiology and topics specific to their practice
