About the position:
Applicants must be qualified to register with the NSAO and have a desire to continue learning and growing in their field. You will have on-site administrative support, as well as collaborative learning opportunities with other practitioners.
Experience teaching movement classes such as Pilates, Yoga, Tai-Chi is an asset but not required.
This position is a full-time permanent, independent contractor position. Remuneration is above average.

Legge Health Clinic is a dynamic multidisciplinary health clinic, operating for the past 24 years in central Nova Scotia. We are looking for the appropriate practitioners to join our team. Legge Health Clinic currently offers acupuncture, chiropractic, low level laser phototherapy, massage therapy, naturopathic medicine, osteopathy, orthotics, sports therapy, traditional Chinese medicine, as well as hot yoga classes.

The well-established and busy Halifax Osteopathic Health Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia is looking for an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner to join out multidisciplinary team. This is a permanent, full time position with a developed case load.
We are looking for a fully qualified and registered practitioner with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in clinical practice. We have a growing clientele with women’s health and pre- and post-natal related issues. Therefore, strong diagnostics skills and interest treating within this category is strongly desired. We are also looking for a practitioner with excellent skills in cranial, pediatrics and visceral osteopathic manipulative techniques.
These include the ability to clearly communicate with other health professionals both verbally and in writing and understand the benefits of a multi-disciplinary team approach when working with patients; diagnosing disorders and injuries of the musculoskeletal, circulatory, nervous, visceral system and treating patients with osteopathic manipulative therapy.
Master or Bachelors in Osteopathy from a reputable university. We do accept applicants with college qualifications in osteopathy whose school may not have been eligible to offer a degree.
